“The Murph Challenge is a HERO WORKOUT consisting of a 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and ending with another 1 mile run. It was the favorite workout of the Navy Special Warfare Operator Lt. Michael P. Murphy, killed in action during Operation Red Wing (Afghanistan 2005) as part of ongoing global war against terrorism.”
