Description After winning it all in the USFL's inaugural season, the Michigan Panthers went into the 1984 campaign looking to repeat but along the way they encountered serious issues within the organization.

Tim Brant reports on Michigans' struggles to stay on top as they had lost five of their last six games with only six weeks left in the regular season.

There was also the issues of contract disputes such as QB Bobby Hebert who didn't report to camp because he wanted his five year contract renegotiated. Other players soon followed his path.

Despite getting off to a good start winning six in a row half of those wins came against expansion clubs. There were key injuries that began affecting the team as well such as wide receiver Anthony Carter and all pro safety David Greenwood.

We hear from head coach Jim Stanley, NT David Tipton, LB John Corker and Club President Vince Lombardi Jr., as they all give us their opinions on what is affecting the Michigan Panthers locker room.
