Would you like an effective way to calm down?
Would you like to reduce stress, dissolve unwanted emotions, and be able to concentrate better?

The catch is that you need to do them and not just read or learn about them.
Here’s a simple one that you may begin to use immediately.
It’s from the workbook in A COURSE IN MIRACLES. I give that source my highest recommendation. It offers a do-able, effective practice for every day for a year.
It’s really a program to retrain how you think, how you use your mind.
It has 2 steps. There’s no belief required except that this practice might be helpful. Test it for yourself.
First, memorize a sentence.
Second, repeat that sentence for the first five minutes of every waking hour.
That’s it! If you repeat it silently, nobody else even needs to know that you are practicing.
Now that you understand what to do, just do it. Here’s the sentence.
