Zenon Andrusyshyn kicked a 30-yard field goal with two seconds to go, his second of the game, as the Tampa Bay Bandits beat the Jacksonville Bulls 28-25 Saturday night in USFL play.
The field goal was set up when the Bandits took possession on the Jacksonville 32 with 1.05 to play. Six plays later, Tampa had the ball on the 13 and Andrusyshyn kicked it dead center. His first field goal was from 28 yards and came with just six seconds left in the first half.
The Bandits spotted Jacksonville a pair of early first-period touchdowns set up by interceptions of Tampa quarterback John Reaves but battled back in the second and third periods, capitalizing on the Bulls' mistakes. Matt Robinson, who went out with an injury at the end of the first half, passed four yards to Michael Whiting after the first Reaves interception and Larry Mason scored on a five yard run after the second interception.
The Bulls put themselves in a hole by missing both extra point attempts, one a kick, one a pass.
