USFL 1984: Cliff Stoudt Comes Home to Pittsburgh

Birmingham Stallions vs Pittsburgh Maulers

Sunday, March 11, 1984

WTAE's Bill Hillgrove reports on Cliff Stoudt's return to Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. He had signed with the Birmingham Stallions at the beginning of the 1984 USFL season after being Terry Bradshaw's backup with the Steelers for so many years.

Bill's report includes reactions from the participants, QB Cliff Stoudt, Maulers QB Glen Carano, Stallions Head Coach Rollie Dotsch, and Wide Receiver Jim Smith a former Steeler himself.

Note: I found this video online and edited two pieces together along with adding the graphics. The original audio was very low and the background noise was higher than the reporters voice.
