Tim Brant interviews the LA Express' new $40 million dollar QB Steve Young past the halfway point of the 1984 season. The Express were still in the hunt for a playoff spot.
The two discuss issues such as the difference from the college level to the pros, dealing with the demands of the media and fans alike.
Young also admits that the financial impact of his new contract had change his family's life. He goes into detail about his grandparents needing money and being able to help them.
They cover other topics like his college career at BYU, his long range goals for the Express and the fact he is still having fun playing the game he loves.
Unfortunately I only found a little over three minutes of this interview on a dvd that included the Michigan Panthers vs the LA Express. If I happen to find the remaining minutes in the future I will upload it again in its entirety.
