My typical day post 50 is waking up at 5am, which works really well. I'm working from home offshore away from my Philippine team, I'm not in Australia. At the moment I'm in Tokyo, my wife is Japanese. And so I go with it.
Waking up at 5am or even earlier works really well for me, I get four hours, where I can just be proactive with my work, and be ahead of the game and ahead of my clients and ahead of my staff as well. So that when they log on or inquiries start to come through, I can be reactive to that.
So I'll take a break at 9am and have breakfast with my wife and my boy and then I'll take him to school and then return to my work and continue working, have a break for lunch and then spend a few hours in the mid afternoon and check in with my staff late in the afternoon.
So, you know, my typical week can vary from 25 hours to well, significantly more. Obviously being a business owner is 24/7 and I respond to clients 24/7 Because I'm passionate about what I do. And I love my clients and I love my staff.
So yeah, that would that would be you know, I'm engaging in a variety of activities from coaching and mentoring staff and guiding their behaviour towards success with their clients and also reviewing my my writing work.
And then obviously all the business functions and the strategic focus of ensuring incomes continually coming in to support the staff and keep the show on the road for everybody.
